How do I Add Vendor Companies and Contacts?

Part of your Implementation and set up of your account is adding Vendor's Companies and Contacts to RFP360 for when you are ready to Publish your RFP, RFI or Profile. Before you can invite contacts to an RFP, you'll need to add approved Companies and Contacts to your Vendor module.

If you are an Administrator or Manager (or Contributor with the right permission) you can start uploading one-by-one if you have a few, or manually through bulk upload if you have a list of vendors.
** Important Note: As a best practice, it's always best to first add your Vendor Companies and then your Contacts afterward, since you'll have a drop-down menu populated with companies to pick from when adding contacts to associate to that individual.

Add Companies

First, add companies by selecting Companies from the side menu and the page will open with the + NEW VENDOR LIBRARY in the right-hand corner of the blue banner to add Vendors one at a time manually.

OR you can add companies in bulk by selecting the Upload Vendor Companies button, downloading the Excel blank spreadsheet template, and copying over vendors into the document to Upload Vendors.

Add Contacts

To add contacts, go to the Contacts dropdown in the Vendors Module area and you can add contacts individually using the + New Contact button, or you can upload Contacts in bulk under Upload Contacts.

Choosing + New Contact to add an individual at a time will open take you to the page below to add in basic contact information that you'd like to invite to a project:

To add a number of contacts at once, click on Upload Content and select the blank spreadsheet template link to download the template. It is Excel and very simple to fill out. An example is below. When you are finished, save the spreadsheet and click Upload contacts to navigate out to the saved file to upload.
